VAPORESSO XROS 3 MINI & XROS 3 APPEARANCE
So, how do these two new devices compare to Vaporesso’s previously released XROS 2? In terms of appearance, the XROS 3 is slightly larger than the XROS 2 while the Mini is, as the name suggests, a smaller, more compact version. Despite the varying size, the portability of the device remains unchanged, with both new models being light and comfortable in the hand, perfect for storing away in a pocket or bag.
The button has changed slightly on the XROS 3, sporting a chrome edge and a small circle in the middle. The XROS 3 Mini doesn’t have a button or adjustable airflow, but the front features a diamond pattern for a more sleek and modern look. While the changes may be small, both devices have evolved their designs to provide a more premium feel when using either one.
Another difference between these two is the colours displayed on the new LED indicator light bar. The XROS 3 displays neon colours every time you take a draw, adding a subtle, yet unique touch. The XROS 3 Mini doesn’t light up with neon colours, but still lights up every time you take a draw with 3 different colours depending on how much battery is left.
VAPORESSO XROS 3 MINI & XROS 3 PODS
The XROS 3 and XROS 3 Mini are both MTL/RDL devices, with the line now offering two new pods for a more diverse vaping experience.
The 0.6OHM pod is a great choice for those who prefer a looser pull and stronger flavour, especially when using freebase nicotine, while the 1.0OHM pod provides a more restrictive pull that can be made even tighter with the XROS 3’s adjustable airflow control and is best suited for higher salt-nicotine strengths.
One interesting detail about the new 0.6OHM pod is that it utilizes Vaporesso’s new COREX Heating Technology to speed up and even out heating, which claims to increase the flavour accuracy and pod lifespan by 50%.
Both the XROS 3 and XROS 3 Mini are conveniently compatible with all XROS pods, including previously released ones. They are also magnetic, allowing them to sit securely in the device.
The new 0.6OHM and 1.0OHM pods are filled using the same top-fill method as before, but come with a slimmer mouthpiece only featured on these specific pods.
